Travel a lot for work to gather data and when that happens, your working hours go from 40 to 70-80 hours a week.

Advice to Management

They consider you like a co worker, an employee. Therefore, you have a lot of responsibilities which is great and your manager usually teaches you a lot.

    Cons

    low pay
    long hours
    bizarre organizational structure

no one knows who is in charge of what anymore, and when you find out, you realize you were better off not knowing

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to those on the lower end of management. These people need to be treated better. All of the higher up people made plenty of money with the merger, but it was a hardship on many people and continues to wreck havoc on their lives. The buddy system was used heavily with this merger and a lot of hard workers and good talent were lost. Services offered to customers are behind the times. Worlds largest airline doesn't mean worlds best.
