I worked at United Airlines full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flight Benefits and Flight Benefits

    Cons

Senior leadership and operational leadership is incompetent, and have no idea how to run an airline day to day, and lack the necessary vision for the future. And HR is the biggest joke on the planet. They advocate open dialogue, and open doors. But if you differ in your view with management, and HR becomes involved, they attack you unmerifully in standing up for leadership, who lacks the basic management skills to manage 1 iota, and are nothing but "Yes" people, scared of their own shadow.

    Advice to Management

Purge the management ranks of the inept and incompetent who do nothing but practice self preservation, and bring nothing new to the table, since all they're concerned about is the long viability of their jobs.
