Pros

Great travel benefits (when there are open seats). Nice crews for the most part. Nice hotels for our layovers. Excellent health insurance coverage, you can choose your own option, or opt out of having the health/dental/vision insurance.

Cons

Back-breaking work the older you get. Must work holidays and weekends. The international flights we are awake when our bodies are telling us to sleep. We are only paid after the door of the airplane shuts, and it stops when the airplane door opens at the destination. We are not paid for boarding (which is the hardest part of the flights), and sometimes the passengers take their frustration out on the flight attendants.
