I have been working at United Nations full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

International experience, social status, sometimes very inserting projects in the field, good salary and benefits

    Cons

Inefficient, corruption in recruitment, favoritism, extreme bureaucracy, it's bureaucracy reminds me of Camus' "The Trial", people of the conflict countries usually don't like the UN, since it's not neutral.

    Advice to Management

It's Secretary General is a puppet to the security council members, I don't think there's anyway to improve such a system.
