I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

PTO is generous and it's easy to take the time off.

    Cons

Cheap place won't hire adequate resources to do the work. Staff responsible for the work of more than one person. Management couldn't care less about the working conditions. Internal opportunities are limited and typically given to outsiders.

    Advice to Management

Wake up. Kill the cliques. Get rid of the dead weight some of which is management. Reward those that are really doing the work.

I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many employees can work remotely one day a week. Most locations have a gym. The salary is competitive. The stock purchase plan it great.

    Cons

It's difficult to move up in the company. The health insurance isn't the best. It's high deductible.

    Advice to Management

For a company in the health care space, you should consider offering employees better insurance.
