Pros

Great working environment, caring and active community. The Paid Time Off policy is very flexible. There is also a factor in which an extra week of PTO can be borrowed if necessary. Most levels begin at 23 days paide time off per year with 8 paid holidays. Most professional jobs do not require nights, weekends or holidays.

Cons

Management is overworked, all departments are short staff. Corporate doesn't have a clue most of the time in their decision making. Departments do not share information and policies are often conflicting

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees Be honest about overseas employees. Pay for decent healthcare. Many employees can't afford their medicines due to cheap health plan

    Pros

Middle management does a good job of recognizing employees for their hard work. There is lots of flexibility as far as working from home or taking time off to care for a sick child.

    Cons

There is very little opportunity for personal growth. I took a position that l believed held lots of potential for advancement, but three years later, after lots of hard work, great suggestions for improvement, and kudos from middle management, I'm still here. Senior managment does very little to recognize and reward good employees.

    Advice to Management

Take a look now and again at employees' previous work experience. Remember what they accomplished in the past and think about what they can potentially accomplish for you. Don't say your number one concern is quality work and then assign every task a production number and turn around time, just so you can have statistics to move yourself forward in the company. We're not stupid. We know we're being used for your personal advancement.

    Pros

The best reason to work for this company is the cheap benefits and job security. If you do your job you will not be let go. The people that work there are very friendly. Short term this job is good.

    Cons

The hours are very strict. They have a vacation calendar that limits how many people can be off on a specific day. Days after holidays are not allowed off. The management serves as more of a cheerleader rold. They do not help much with career development. There are no pay raises this year. The job gets really boring in the long run.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest that they try not to implement to many new processes at once. They need to implement processes slowly. Too many new things leads to too many errors and causes problems that could be avoided.
