    Pros

When beginning with Connextions they provide you with extensive training to help those not already licensed pass the exam for their Insurance License. If you are new in the industry it's a great way to learn about the insurance industry, get you license, and learn about the opportunities you will have to grow your business.

    Cons

Schedules change frequently. Employees are never given a cost of living increase. With the average cost of living increasing at 3.5% per year, agents with the company have realized a 22.08% decrease in pay due to inflation. While the companies profits and charges increase yearly, payment to employees doesn't.

    Advice to Management

Begin to realize that your employees are your biggest asset.

I worked at UnitedHealth Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, dynamic environment, trying hard to serve members. Consolidation of acquisitions is a constant source of opportunities.

    Cons

Legacy employees drag down the more nimble, newer workers. Planning happens too far in advance to really respond to market changes.

    Advice to Management

Greater communication with rank and file. Less onerous capital financing process.
