    Pros

Access to some of the best health information in the world. I work with some very smart people and have a great ability to learn through resources in my organization.

    Cons

Not a great place for entry level. Sink or swim culture. Poor work life balance. Sometimes senior management does not provide adequate guidance.

    Advice to Management

Need better programs in place to train junior employees. Offices are independent of each other and different sometimes conflicting cultures emerge throughout the organization.

    Pros

Large healthcare technology company with a definite vision and desire to dominate their space. Having United Health Group as a parent adds capital along with potential customer revenue for your business unit.

    Cons

Integration process can be lengthy and disruptive if you were just acquired, including marketing support which can lag behind even more. If your unit and solution wasn't best of breed within your niche prior to being acquired, you will struggle for a time. Having United Health Group as a parent can possibly cost you opportunities if your healthcare clients struggle with them as a payor.....

    Advice to Management

Keep working on optimum ways to leverage existing client relationships by motivating them financially to take a serious look at each new business unit you on-board.
