I have been working at University of Cincinnati full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great opportunities for collaborations, good faculty, the presence of Cincinnati children's hospital makes access to rare biological samples easier, overall a good institution

Cons

Area around the university could be made much better and student friendly, not too many places to enjoy in Cincinnati, otherwise, a good experience overall.

I worked at University of Cincinnati full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The University receives millions of dollars each year from grants. These grants ensure that graduate students have scholarships and health insurance. There is night-walk on campus which is a free service to accompany students home at night after the shuttle stops running.

    Cons

Employ more female faculty in the sciences.
At least have the option of graduate housing on campus.

    Advice to Management

Management is doing an excellent job in retaining minorities.
