    No opinion of CEO

I worked at University of Denver part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most GA partnerships are accommodating to class schedule and the diversity of projects. however this does mean you are paired with the right "boss". The school understands the pressures of student life and the financial benefits are great. It does add another piece to the workload, but worth it.

    Cons

Sometimes it is hard to get the time you need to engage with the professor, just do to scheduling. If they travel alot, it can be difficult which means you have to be more of a self starter.

    Advice to Management

Open up more GA positions for students and do not limit the time they get. I never understood why GAs could not be a GA for more than 5 trimesters. Does make sense...

    Pros

Tuition benefit is a great perk, beautiful campus to work on

    Cons

Don't expect anything to happen fast. The institution is incredibly decentralized and trying to get cooperation beyond your department is extremely difficult. Be prepared for a highly political environment.
