Pros

As a pilot and flight instructor, you are compensated well in comparison to other flight schools in the country. The University of Dubuque offers both an hourly wage and salary on top of that, as a full-time employee. They offer a full benefits package as well, not usually found at other flight schools. New airplanes, new(er) simulators.

Cons

During summer students are few and far between, pay is not as great as it is in the Fall/Spring semesters. Health insurance is expensive.

Advice to Management

Communication between University faculty on campus and the flight instructors out at the airport should be better, in order to give students a better, comprehensive experience between flight/ground schools.
