Approves of CEO

I have been working at University of Houston full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Good office culture, good support from the university for research, opportunity to grow and rise up the ladder if you perform, less pressure in work, and good supervisor.

Cons

Low compensation, insignificant merit increase, high bureaucracy. location of university and commute is unsafe, people are mostly laid back, pay is not commensurate to job responsibilities, high income inequality, benefits ere very bad

I worked at University of Houston full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of training that will prepare you for any job in the future. Not a lot of flexibility in schedule but the schedules are given a semester in advance so that you can plan life around it.

    Cons

Depending on where you're placed, you may have a few sleepless nights. Pay is not great but room and board are free for all full time RA's.

    Advice to Management

An approachable personality is ideal for the "RA of RAs". My experience with the Hall Director was always positive but there were other exceptions in other areas of Residential Life and Housing.
