Pros

Generally positive people throughout workplace. A chance to help others. Minneapolis is a great city. Benefits are fairly good. Cafeteria could better. Construction is noisy, but should bring helpful improvements. Pay seems to be fair as compared to other positions in mental health services. The hospital, as you would expect, is a clean and (generally) safe place to work for.

Cons

No ladder for upwards growth in psychiatric associate position. Parking is more expensive than it ought to be. It would be nice to get more opportunities for help with continued education considering we are affiliated with the University of Minnesota.

Advice to Management

Stop building hospitals and get out of debt.

    Pros

Living expense is low, but life is convenient . A lot of restaurant, diversity of cultures. Still industrialized and some Fortune 500 companies are here.

    Cons

The winter is extremely long, almost more than half a year. The activities are not so many compared to NYC, Los Angeles etc
