    Pros

    Employee well-being, as well as diversity & inclusion, are important aspects at the U. Better work-life balance than many other universities.

    Cons

    The pay could have been a bit higher but the university invests in many services that are also useful.

    Flexibility in terms of work/life balance and post pandemic in terms of working remotely Kind, smart colleagues Benefits are great as they should be at a public university Using advanced degree in a research setting without having to be a faculty member

    Cons

    Slow advancement given smaller size of the research institute Faculty egos and assumptions Some bureaucratic-driven inefficiencies
