I have been working at University of North Dakota part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Works great around a students schedule.

    Cons

    Some late nights
    Pay
Some of management changing things on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing so heavily on safety to the point that check-lists are 9 pages long.

    Pros

I was working a the UND Chemistry Department in 2012. I enjoyed the freedom that I had performing research, however, this can vary considerably from job to job.

    Cons

I did not enjoy the Department Chair at the time who often seemed power hungry. There was one instance where he received an e-mail in the wrong way and threatened to fire me accordingly.

    Advice to Management

Establish relationships with your employees. Work together with employees to achieve long-term results.
