I have been working at University of Phoenix full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Worked with a very diverse group of professionals and positive team environment. Communicated virtually with my manager and team mates. The position was a tele-commuter position which meant flexibility in your schedule and work from home.

Cons

*Many changes without being evenly distributed to all team members across the U.S.
*Divided as National Advisors and Regional Advisors, Regional Advisors did both B2B and B2C and did not receive the pay or bonuses that Nationals do.

I worked at University of Phoenix part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One of the few places where you can teach with a Masters Degree, rather than a Doctorate Degree. Teaching can be rewarding when students put forth the effort. Faculty have some flexibility in scheduling classes, although often requests to teach were very last minute.

    Cons

My local area campus (Detroit) was very disorganized. Students were unprepared for college, expected to get their degree too easily, and did not read/study for class. Faculty were expected to clock in and out - I have never been asked to do that before!

I have been working at University of Phoenix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great team of people, good benefits of vacation, sick and health and dental benefits.

    Cons

Company going through a re-organization and downsizing, little opportunities for advancement or job changes. Also work scheduled vary from week to week no stability or preference for work hours is a detractor.

    Advice to Management

Create more opportunities for advancement and stable work hours.
