I worked at University of Rochester Medical Center full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The UofR is definitely a good place to work at. Lots of learning opportunities and people there are nice. The atmosphere is mostly supportive in that environment.

    Cons

All organizations have their politics. UofR is no different.

I have been working at University of Rochester Medical Center full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great laboratory with open space lab and big windows, very easy to work environment. Flexible time working time. Supportive lab members, PIs, and administrative stuff to work with.

    Cons

Cold and long winters can really be a bit inhibiting for some people. Long working hours like any academia research position.

    Advice to Management

No much, but be aware of accessibility in the building. Some shared rooms have swap access that no one really have...
