I have been working at University of San Diego full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The compensation (room and meal plan) and the close relationship with the professional staff are great perks to the Resident Assistant job. The job itself also allows for a lot of personal growth as you are constantly challenged to confront and adapt to unpredictable situations that may occur in the residence halls.

Cons

The meal plan could be expanded for Resident Assistants who are living in Freshman areas and do not have kitchens, otherwise it's great!

Advice to Management

Expand the meal plan for freshman areas.

    Pros

Location, hours available because more financially stable students drop shifts easily,

    Cons

Not much opportunity for any real advancement. Pay isn't great.

    Advice to Management

Try harder to keep exemplary employees around so you don't have to waste money training unproven students for the same position.
