I worked at University of Texas at Austin part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This job provided a good job experience and I had a good time and the pay was above average. The people are friendly and I was able to have a good time. They have flexible hours as well. Ruined clothes

    Cons

This job certainly had cons. I was constantly rushed and overworked. My supervisor was highly demanding and was very strict. I liked it more than I disliked it.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so mean are u srs.

I worked at University of Texas at Austin part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Extraordinary resources: libraries, research centers, faculty, students, personnel, etc. Enjoyable place to work, especially as a graduate student when you need a flexible work schedule. Since many people are "moving through" Austin, you inevitably establish a nationwide network of contacts who fondly remember their time in Texas.

    Cons

Depending on the department or college you work for, your pay is low though the benefits are great. Also, depending on what type of course you're assisting (lower-level vs upper), your workload may overflow the established hours.
