I have been working at University of Toronto as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

good practice of your communication skills. you learn to become an independent worker. Rather than being told what to do every step of the way, you learn to plan, execute, and self evaluate.

    Cons

Need to communicate with professors carefully because each has his or her own expectations. Expectations can very greatly.
