I have been working at University of Washington full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

I find my co-workers are all considerate, professional and hardworking. I learn a lot from them and appreciate all the professional development opportunities as well as the good benefits and resources for work/life balance. I also appreciate all the work to reduce waste and the environmentally friendly culture that taking shape.

Cons

As with any large organization there are time consuming procedures and protocols to follow and take a long time to become proficient in.

Advice to Management

Continue working hard to provide professional development to employees.

    Pros

    The University of Washington is localized in Seattle, in the peripheries of the Puget Sound area. The city of Seattle is the largest city of the northwest and is beautiful.

    Cons

    The rent of houses is so expensive. There are not free parking area. The city has a worst weather, is constantly gray sky.

    My advisor was a distant person

    Pros

    RN's are considered part of a team and contributions are respected. You practice independently yet collaborate when you want too. It is a model program

    Cons

    Can't think of any negative- they really are great

    Advice to Management

    Love it there- feel it is a model to hospitals everywhere
