Pros

Fortune 1000 Client list. Hot industry.

Cons

Useless management. Unqualified employees. "C" players everywhere.

Advice to Management

Stop being a "sales" company and understand that you're a tech company. Hire execution. Stop hiring sales. Pay competitive salaries and provide proper roadmaps, leadership, and goals for employees.

    Pros

Great resume item due to client list. You get to work with high profile clients. Benefits package is (was?) free, vacation compensation is pretty good usually due to lack of record keeping.

    Cons

Top heavy organization. You're either a low level employee (beware of superfluous titles) or you're in management. You'll get ahead by either working as a drone under the right people or you'll find yourself in quicksand regardless of your performance. Company is building processes for the sake of having processes rather than improving the quality of the work environment and it's employees.

    Advice to Management

Value the employees you want to keep, and treat them accordingly. Provide clear and realistic career growth opportunities and then stand by your commitments. Spare the change in your pockets and give it to those who work tirelessly for your benefit.

    Pros

    - You get to work with major clients. Client facing.
    - Free insurance.
    - Good co-workers
    - The place is a good place to meet up and coming young technical professionals.

    Cons

    - Middle management is horrible. VERY political. Suck up if you want to move ahead.
    - You start early. 8am early.
    - Get ready to work. They will keep giving you clients even if you say you can't handle it.

    Advice to Management

Stop running your company like a sweat shop. We are people. Start treating us as such.
