    Pros

I loved the people I worked with. They are very dedicated to their work and want to make a difference for the people of Utah.

    Cons

This is still a government job that comes with the red tape and meaningless but necessary tasks.

    Pros

State benefits are decent. Holidays and vacation are good.

    Cons

Office of Recovery Services employs some of the poorest work ethic employees I've encountered in Government. Training is non existent. Some managers are great, while other are a walking joke. No incentives to produce. As long as you show up to work, despite your productivity, your employment if bomb safe. Upper management is non-existent to the realities and poor culture that their hires create on the floor. No accountability. None. Documents get lost all the time from the public. CIU managers couldn't solve a problem if their life depended on it. Of all the overpaid Office Specialist in the State of Utah, the majority of them are in ORS/CIU. There are Office Specialist making 20+/hr, working 20 hour weeks and those who get hired on make only 10/hr @ 40 hours. Despite those who are paid lower, do MORE or the workload. Management wouldn't care less "as long as the work gets done, right?" I can't account for prior administrations, but this one is dispicable. Poor office moral and and even poorer outlook. No leadership, whatsoever. Yet, someone is getting paid and pretending to lead.
