The company has a good medical/dental benefit plan. Has good raises and fully supports its workers in their endeavors.

The call center closed, laying off over 200 people.

    - They've provided a steady job for a number of years.

    Cons

    - Employee perks... there are none.
    - Employee recognition... there are none.
    - Employee raises... there are none.
    - Managers placed in positions they have no knowledge in...there are plenty.
    - Opportunities for advancement... not many.

    Advice to Management

    Quit being cheap and spend more money on your employees. Recognize and reward them for their hard efforts. Quit putting people into positions they have no clue about...just for the sake of saving their jobs. Though a valiant effort, it's useless if they don't know what they're doing, and everyone else suffers.
