I have been working at Vantiv full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Flexibility, allowed to price freely within reason.

Cons

They discourage customer service. It's just the industry, I suppose -- but you're value to the company depends on how much revenue you generate and how many widgets you bring in.

Advice to Management

Show some interest in supporting career advancement...or at least pretend to...

I have been working at Vantiv full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Brand recognition? They process for Nordstrom (although I'd bet not for too much longer unless they buy them out)??

    Cons

Overworked, underpaid. They stretch employees way too thin and bonuses are bleak. Even if you're substantially over quota you get no perks. They just lowered residuals substantially and continue every year. I've gone from feeling like a million bucks with this company to a worker bee. The fact they are public has made all values and appreciation of employees go out the window. It's clear that the only thing that matters are profits at all costs- whether that be shipping out jobs overseas or working employees to death while lowering pay. Vantiv should learn from first data- they're too big, bloated, and overcharge their customers. Vantiv's predecessor!!

    Advice to Management

Stop selling out to shareholders... Profits will ultimately suffer tenfold when you become a joke and all your top producers jump ship for a better company.

    Pros

    Great people to work with.

    Cons

FTPS is now Vantiv. Poorly run.

    Advice to Management

    Be more transparent. Don't lie.
