Flexibility and Respect

I love being able to work remotely. Also, and probably most importantly, I feel respected by my leads and managers here. I have always been treated well, benefits are good, and I feel like my concerns are not only listened to, but responded to and resolved realistically. It is a fast paced environment and often you have to be comfortable doing things that are new, but when you are working on something new that is taken into account. I guess what I am trying to say is that the expectations are not unrealistic.
Cons
The only con I have is more of a personal one. I understand that VT is a corporation, and not that there are no philanthropic efforts, but I would like to see more. Also, the pay is not bad, but could be better. I think more cross training and shadowing of people with other positions and job descriptions would be great.

Good for those who prefer Sales

- Good pay - Decent benefits - Employee perks - Commission if you meet/exceed monthly goal - Managers are willing to work with you - Helpful teammates ~ Overtime (for those that need the hours, they are always willing to give them as long as you are productive, and sometimes they are incentivized)
Cons
- Lots of hours - You are constantly being monitored for productivity (it is a job so this is a given, but sometimes it can feel like micromanagement) - Make you listen to your own calls (not great for someone who hates the sound of their own voice) - Strict goals that seems to increase every month (somewhat unrealistic at times) ~ Overtime is almost a must (asking or a minimum of 5 hours from all employees and sending emails out begging for people to contribute 15+ hours of overtime)
