Pros
I loved the atmosphere at this company - there were lots of snacks and coffee any time you wanted them, and everyone was very friendly. The managers in particular were more like friends and bosses. The pay is good, the audio to be transcribed interesting, and at least when I was there the hours were extremely flexible and there was a work-from-home option. It was a real pleasure to come into the office every day.
However, Verb8tm will always have a special place in my heart because they are so understanding about helping their employees pursue their dreams - when I had an interview for my dream job, they let me drop a month's worth of shifts with very little notice and come back to my position afterwards. I ended up continuing with the new company, but none of it would have happened without the wonderful and understanding managers there. This is the perfect gig for college students, starving artists, and people looking for a way to make ends meet while searching for their path.
