Pros

Good Pay, benefits and I am non-union. Healthcare is very affordable, good matching 401k.

Exposure to big network environments is challenging.

Cons

Always a crunch to provide the most for the money. Customer expectations are set very high and you are not always in the best position to fulfill them. Customer can become very frustrated and not nice to deal with.

There are many antiquated process and systems, makes it difficult to compete tasks that should be simple. Like ordering pens, cables, or get a phone hooked up.

Constant org changes.

Advice to Management

More technical people and less paper and process pusher. Empower employee's to help customers, don't make every process require VP approval. For example, I need VP approval for a 800 dollar expense report, or to get a cell phone replace. Just too much red tape, I hope it saves money.
