implement the same standards, even at least in the same region.

    I worked at Verizon full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, salary. If you are looking to work somewhere for 20 years and make them your world (i.e. become a part of the good old boys club) you will have plenty of opportunity for career growth.

    Cons

No room for growth. Company offers great education reimbursement but does NOT promote internally those who take advantage of it.

    Advice to Management

Use your internal talents in other areas. Think outside the box.

I have been working at Verizon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    More or less OK salaries

    Cons

They expect you to work 24x7, no training and travel for onshore eployees, carreer path doesn't exsist, most of IT upper/mid management of particular origins.
There is no planning - upper management gives "Go-Live" date no matter of resources availability/training/current load
