    I have been working at Verizon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great team. Minimum supervision. Good base if you have a college degree.

    Cons

    6 months charge back. Company is huge therefore a lot of mis comunication among departments. Product pricing and fees generate lots of charge backs.

    Advice to Management

    Increase the pressure and you will get more sales, reduce taxes and fees and you will see less cancels. Work more on the pro rated bills on the first month.

    Good benefits
    Some good co-workers stuck in the same sinking boat
    Nice facility

    Cons

    No structure to workday; no plan, no consistency, no logic to anything that happens
    Backstabbing environment among higher-ups

    Advice to Management

    In my time at Verizon I must have heard "we need to change the culture" a thousand times, but no one was ever able to define what that meant, the steps to achieve it, or how to measure it. The company just keeps spinning its wheels, acquiring new customers on one end when hemorrhaging existing customers on the other.
