I have been working at Verizon full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Verizon pays employees well and the benefits aren't to bad either. I've been with them for 16+ years, but my job is now being moved to Florida.

Cons

Verizon make large decisions very quickly. Be ready for broad changes at a moments notice. They took our pension away one year. Now they are consolidating 200 offices into 20 something.

I worked at Verizon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay and Benefits are amongst the best I've seen

    Cons

Easy to branch out, hard to advance.... Some of management's suggestions are sales driven, but unmoral...

    Advice to Management

    Happy employees equal productive employees

"Sales expectations high, software has user problems, reviews have room for personal opinions rather than direct ratings."

I worked at Verizon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

High salary and many sales incentive "prizes"

    Cons

80 percent of workers are so stressed that they are taking depression and anxiety medicine.

    Advice to Management

New sales representatives need more lessons in the software problems and more insight on billing and repair issues rather than told it is a selling job. Eplain only top 25 percent performers get hired
