I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

pay and benefits are ok. Verizon is a good company to work for, but not in retail.

    Cons

Don't take a job in retail! micro managed after every sale by managers. you are expected to sell $100 dollars worth of accessories with every phone. they don't pay you on contract renewals anymore. hours are nights and weekends.

    Advice to Management

stop micro managing so much, way too much pressure for what you get paid, it's not worth it

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Pay (for top producers), Great benefits, and overall good work environment (at most locations)

    Cons

Can be a lot of drama at some locations, management seems to get a bad case of what have you done for me this minute from time to time, and your work location is not taken into consideration for sales goal (a rural farm community had the same smartphone goal as a store on Wall St.)

    Advice to Management

Spend more time working on your team, bring back team builders and the sales will flow
