I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

-Great Co Workers
-Great Pay Benefits 401(k) tuition reimbursement
- Everyone(not management) is almost always willing to help you no matter what
- Welcoming enviroment

Cons

Increasingly near impossible goals to hit( I was one of the better reps and always overachieved yet they make it harder and harder every year & call it making the sales process"easier")
Certain managers dont help with wanting to move up.
Moving up chances near slim unless youre a "brown noser"

Advice to Management

Understand a little more what its like to be a sales rep today vs what it was years ago. You cant in the past, the company is suppose to be about change, that doesn't just apply to sales reps. Give more chances to those deserving to move up and not ones who dont!

I have been working at Verizon Wireless part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*They have been extremely generous in working with my full-time school schedule
    *They have excellent benefits
*The pay is extremely competitive for an entry level position that does not require a college degree
*The retail sales representative position is very much self-driven position; you get out of it what you put into it
    * Continuous training and education is provided
*There are changes within the company that are made to reflect the ever changing customer needs

    Cons

*After expressing desires to continue to build my career with Verizon just in a corporate setting, it's been hard to find someone who is genuinely interested in discussing with me how I can do so.
*Managers can be hounded by upper management, which causes them distress and in turn the entire retail team can feel the same distress.
