I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its the most money you can make directly out of college without being in a specialized field, ex: engineer, computer programmer, economist, etc. Great benefits, tuition reimbursement, 401k, lowest fully comprehensive insurance I've ever had and I have the most expensive one they offer.

    Cons

Working there can be compared to an ever changing obstacle course in which your sales objectives change sometimes in the middle of the month. Your ranking is only important in regards to not being written up and eventually let go, however your paycheck does not correlate directly to that, meaning you can be written up and have a larger pay check than your peers. After years of being in the top 15% of my region, sometimes top 5, no opportunities for advancement. No balance in work and your personal life, I've missed more family time due to our terrible schedules, 8-10 day work weeks.

    Advice to Management

Not everyone wakes up in the morning wanting to sell phones, we put in our dues and are wanting more dynamic jobs that develop us personally and into integral parts of the company.
