    Retail hours, unrealistic quotas, rapidly changing market

    Advice to Management

    Drilling your reps about numbers each and everyday doesn't keep them motivated to sell more. Especially in retail. The majority of people who walk into a store don't walk in to buy something. They mostly do because either something is wrong with their phone or their bill. But it was our job to try to change that culture.

    I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The benefits were good. Would sometimes be difficult to get time off, especially around the holidays. Good shifts are hard to come by for the first few years.

    Cons

    Having to deal with screaming customers. Also a lot of "well you could have done this instead" during calls when being reviewed.
