I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Use to be a fun place to work where you had the opportunity to make a decent amount of money.

Cons

Too many metrics to focus on. Additionally metrics that management wants you to focus on to attain a high "scorecard" ranking do not translate to high commissions. These metrics should align instead of being at odds with one another.

Advice to Management

Change the scorecard so it aligns with commissions.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You work with people who overal have similar interests in technology, you make life long friends. Benefits are very good.

    Cons

You're never treated like you are appreciated, when you accomplish something management only focuses on the negative.

    Advice to Management

As the only CSR in my location I was expected to keep up with returns, merchandising, reports, and inventory. As a NON commissioned rep I was also expected to hit sales numbers was also expected to work with customers probably 75 % of the time which left "my" work unfinished. I was the lowest paid with the most responsibilities, this needs to change.
