I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very professional group of people, tight operational processes. This is the way to do business. I have since worked for T-Mobile and the difference in Operational diligence is amazing; Verizon Wireless systems are up and working all the time. Excellent communication & coordination between towers and management groups.

    Cons

The merger with Verizon Corp saw the loss of a LOT of good talent from Verizon Wireless due to reductions in force across all groups. The IT Operations and Network Operations especially.

    Advice to Management

    None.
