Pros

Gets a great way to starve yourselves career, to understand the base pay and commission process. Extensive training on how to sell.

Cons

You're up on your feet all day, it's retail. So therefore if you have to be there just about every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes it's hard to get management to do what they need to do.

Advice to Management

Overall management is doing a wonderful job. I think just on an individual basis there could be some problems (meaning it's not the company structure or culture, but it is the individual).

    Pros

They give a good amount of time off. They have good benefits. The health insurance is at low cost. They give workers the ability to progress. They are the best company in the industry. Employees get a new phone every 10 months. Employees get a discount on the phone service.

    Cons

There aren't many jobs in this call center in particular to people who have degrees to move up to. Most shifts don't have nights and weekends off.

    Advice to Management

Supervisors should treat representatives the way they would like them to treat the customers.

    Pros

    Benefits
    Hourly rate
    Price plan discounts
    Bonuses
Nice to work for the top cell phone carrier versus others out there

    Cons

Very corporate- if you are a good corporate kiss @$$ you can make great progression. I moved very fast from sales to store management by playing "the game" but you give up your life (literally) doing that
No balance of work and personal- they do not care about what you are outside the walls of Vzw and you will be sucked dry
The company simply doesn't live by it's credo anymore.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your front line employees and for once hear what they have to say. You are losing some of the most caring people by your neglect and disrespect of them.
