Pros

Having 3 days weekend and free soda and Starbucks cofee is really awesome. The guys that work there are always helping and guide you during the process of learning that job.

Cons

There are 12 hours shifts that are pretty rough. And the night shifts are really tough. But after a couple of weeks you get use to it.

    Pros

ViaWest is a company that is experiencing rapid growth, it never gets boring, there are always an abundance of challenges to conquer. There is a vast amount of expertise in both technology and business leadership available to tap into across the many departments. Great culture and Great people! Excellent benefits package and time off availability.

    Cons

Sometimes the fast pace can wear you down, however ample time off is provided to allow you to recharge.
    Lots of meetings.

    Advice to Management

Continue your investments into your existing employee base.
Address the concerns listed by some naysayers on this site, I believe those who feel no advancement opportunity exist here are just waiting around for those opportunities to fall into their laps. You can't make everyone happy all the time!

    Pros

A decent place to park is provided
    The free soda is cool
Light rail is right next to the Wazee location (they will help pay for ECO-passes)

    Cons

The biggest thing as some people have mentioned is the culture altogether.
Promotions can be quick but they're dependent on turnover at higher up levels. This means your new job may not exactly be secure and it also means you get to do more for the same compensation. It's pretty much title promotions. But it's not bad for a resume'
Call Center is a great way of putting it. They are also micromanagers all the way across the board, down to what you are doing each and every minute.. But that's fine for what they pay and the benefits aren't bad.
The main reason I work there is I live pretty close and I'll be looking to move on.

    Advice to Management

It would be cool to get some energy drinks in the fridge like Rockstar or Monster or something like that. It would also be nice if we could get some kickdowns like all the higher ups get like Rockies tix or Broncos tix.
