Former Employee - Intern in New York, NY
No opinion of CEO

Pros

Love the cafeteria, interesting people, interesting projects, fun atmosphere

Cons

Was told I could get hands-on experience in the internship I never received, really bad desk set-up for an intern, never worked with or spoke to the person who was supposed to be my supervisor.

Advice to Management

Allow interns more opportunity to move from department to department.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Brand association, flexible work schedules, laid back atmosphere

    Cons

No business management, no resource development, no clarity on direction, no communication, no management backing, very political environment, recognition is not merit based but based on personal favoritism, no desire for change & improvement

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing true business practices, communicate better with employees, focus on developing individuals, eliminate non-performers, seek to motivate employees.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Benefits are good, great brands and things to work. Exposure to lots of different platforms that continue to push the boundries of pop-culture.

    Cons

There is no clear path of career development at all. Promotions are entirely subjective. Amazingly, some crappy people are promoted while other stellar employees languish in the same roles. Makes no sense.

    Advice to Management

Be smarter on your decisions to reward people. Just because someone completed a project doesn't make them a Vice President - especially when they were only a Director a year ago.
