I worked at Viagogo as a contractor

Pros

The people that work here are young and friendly. A lot of the time they were the only reason it wasn't horrible to come to work.

Cons

Management doesn't know what they're doing and you aren't given any real responsibility or a chance to grow your skillset. The company's values are also questionable.

I have been working at Viagogo (Less than a year)

    Pros

Viagogo has great office culture, but average company culture.
Viagogo must learn to value their employees, other than that, they are alright

    Cons

No work-life balance, the company did not do much for employees and asked for way more in return. Very dismissive and one sided management.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Viagogo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly co-workers.
There are some brilliant people scattered throughout the company.

    Cons

Severe lack of leadership. Management is either inexperienced or unempowered.
    Lack of communication between offices.
    No clear company policies.
Feeling undervalued. Lack of employment growth and high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Stop pretending to be a start-up. Upper management needs to execute a clear strategy, or hand over the reins to someone who can. Change can be difficult, but no change is detrimental.
For a company that's been around this long, there really should be clear policies in place.
Your employees are your most valuable asset, and should be treated as such.
