I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The hours were consistent most of the time. The pay is great. You get a gratis sheet every month that contains free stuff. If the company makes over 3% of their sales goal for the fiscal month, you get a bonus. If you're a bra fit...you have to hit 3% over bra sales specifically to get the bonus.

    Cons

Management is very forceful. They don't let you breathe. They force you to promote the angel card to customers...even if they aren't from the United States. You have to meet your sales goal. If you aren't performing well, they won't give you a good review...they could potentially fire you if they feel like you aren't meeting goal expectations. The culture of the fitting room at 5th Avenue, NY was very toxic. Some of the Bra fits would act like managers and treat the new employees horribly. This has been bought up to management and they condone it. They have a point system for attendance. A call out was 1 point so if you were ACTUALLY sick, they wouldn't care. They would tell you to give your doctor's note to HR. Theres a lot of favoritism in this location. They will promote you if they like you. This isn't to encourage you not to apply to the company overall, but don't apply to 5th Avenue, NY on 51st st if you want to stay away from coworkers who don't know the meaning of working as a team in the fitting room and horrible management.
