I have been working at Victoria's Secret part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good Team environment and good values

Cons

LOW pay, TOO many pointless meetings- they are always about the same things OVER and OVER again for very little pay, commuting too and from them cost more than my dollar/hr.

    Pros

    Minimum wage is 8.50, co-workers are nice if you're lucky, easy to make friends

    Cons

    On-call schedule - they give you a schedule and you call 2 hours in advance for a shift you're not going to get, if you don't work enough they won't keep you

    Advice to Management

    Stop giving on-call shifts and keeping people on hold for 30 minutes plus for no reason!! Some managers forget you have a break.

    I worked at Victoria's Secret full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Teamwork and great support from senior management.

    Cons

    Development is your responsibility, and they promote from within, but most of the time from another store outside the state. To keeo good talent need to pay more than the average otherwise they will leave for better pay eslewhere.

    Advice to Management

    to build a high performing team leaders must develop their direct reports, provide feedback and guidance. Self development is good but without direction can be self defeating.
