I worked at Visa Inc. as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great culture where you are given independence to get your work done but people are responsive when help/advice is requested. Nobody breathes down your neck and you are free to manage your schedule as you like as long as you meet deadlines. There is a healthy amount of diversity as the company is open to hiring people from a variety of backgrounds. Management is flexible with helping employees achieve their career goals.

    Cons

The drawback of the great work/life balance and collaborative culture is that sometimes it is hard to get hold of people due to the limited hours in a day when you need advice, etc. As a result things progress on the slow side. There is no food available in the building after 4pm.

    Advice to Management

Be more visionary and lead boldly in the payments industry - other tech companies are making inroads but Visa continues to operate like a financial institution.
