    Pros

Great company that sincerely tries to recognize employees and value their contributions. Good benefits, fun environment, lots of perks.

    Cons

Lots of turnover... by the time I quit (because I had a baby and decided not to work anymore) almost everybody who was involved in hiring and training me had been fired. Multiple managers and supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Keep moving the company forward and being awesome!!

  2. "Enjoyable coworkers and environment merged with frustrating work conditions in security system scheduling"

I worked at Vivint Smart Home full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Casual environment for the most part
    - Enjoyable co-workers
    - Cafeteria
    - Sand volleyball court
    - Paid time off and good health benefits for an hourly wage job

    Cons

    - Constantly changing management creating chaos and confusion
    - Poor communication between management and employees and different departments with one another
    - Pay scale changed often and usually for the worst
    - Some (not all!) sales members that were abusive or deceitful in their tactics towards coworkers and customers

    Advice to Management

Keep the manager in place for more than two months so there is at least some continuity to the department. Also, stop changing the pay scale for your employees. If you want to motivate the poor performers, start actually writing people up instead of punishing everyone with some ill-conceived pay plan that you think will encourage people to work more.

Also, it wouldn't hurt if you could curb the mouths of some of your sales people who would constantly brag about making $3,000 on a single paycheck when others struggle to support a family on $800 a paycheck and manage to do it without lying or throwing a tantrum when they don't get their own way. Maybe you could try giving an incentive to people that actually push forward the process rather than throwing another two or three iPads at the sales team who are constantly messing up their sales information and making others have to babysit them and triple-check their work.

Last, stop changing your policies every other month as well. It frustrates your workers, slows up the work, and irritates customers in the end. If you're thinking about changing something, ask if it is REALLY going to make that much of a difference or not.
