I worked at Vivint Smart Home full-time (More than a year)

Pros

"Free" lunch, decent pay considering the entry-level nature of the job, constant feedback to improve your skills

Cons

Management is out of touch, supervisors range from incompetent to apathetic, customer satisfaction is low and they take it out on you, having to clean up problems created by other departments

Advice to Management

Don't give your veteran employees a pay cut and call it a raise, then wonder why turnover is so obscenely high.

    Pros

    Love the culture and passion to take care of customers and protect families. Sales can have high expectations, but the rewards are great and management seams to be in the fight with us. Free lunch, doctor, and gym.

    Cons

    Large companies become bureaucratic. Vivint is trying not to, but unfortunately must continue to change as it grows. Should have better benefits.

    Field service (service support, field support) struggles with lack of communication with upper management. Poor leadership skills. Needs of the customers are not being taken care of properly.
