VuMedi is a great place to work!
Mar 3, 2021 - Recruiting ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
VuMedi is growing, has tons of opportunity to learn and grow in your career. If you're a driven individual, you'll thrive here. Work life balance is outstanding and the company really cares about you as a person.
Cons
In a growing company priorities can change quickly. If you're uncomfortable with lack of formal structure or process, this might not be the place for you (yet).

Great Interview Process
Jul 11, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Oakland, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I recently joined and was very impressed by the interview process and the quality of the people I met. The leaders were humble and thoughtful in their questions for me. They were open to sharing what they need from my role and the interview process allowed for candid conversations about my experience and how it could align with the company's needs. A few months in and the expectations set in the interview process are matching up which is always a good sign!
Cons
The company has a lot of opportunities for growth and we are working on what to prioritize and how to organize ourselves to meet the goals. While the company has been around for longer than most start ups, the growth is recent so a lot of the hard work of growing and scaling is happening now. Fun and exciting opportunity for people looking to build and help grow a business.

Frustrating, decisions are never made
May 17, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The Education and Customer Success teams have strong leaders who are great mentors.
Cons
A totally directionless company. Ideas go to the CEO/founder to die. He never makes decisions so projects just founder for months on end. There are two sides to his leadership team: a group that's been there for years (and aren't in California) and experienced professionals hired when the business starts to take off who are either fired or quit within a year. He can't take any criticism and writes things off saying it's just a startup, but it's also a 15 year old company. If you interview there ask what the strategic direction of the company is and ask to hear about the execution of a big project. That'll give you your answer.
