    Pros

Good management, and good team aspects. Considerable HR support, and reasonable benefits to company size. Strong saftety and work ethic for training at the plants. Focus on production and processes is excellent, and a significant asset to this organization. Union environment, so as long as you are pro-union this is a significant and fair way to treat employees.

    Cons

Not always fair about promotions with others, appears politics are more heavily involved than in simililar industries. Seems that there are many senior managers and few actual workers doing what is needed. Pressure to scheduling is often greater than ability of team in a reasonable timeframe.

    Advice to Management

Create more meetings between all levels of employees, have routine conversations at front line of the company.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Open-minded about technology. Compensation decent (I think). Good cross-functional interaction. Management communications, esp. from CEO level, seem honest and straight-forward.

    Cons

Company on the move but faltering in trying to change too fast. Sometimes it feels like Senior Management makes changes for the sake of making changes...i.e. "need to do something" ...so start new initiatives without understanding what needs to be exactly done. In the end, little gets accomplished but you've moved on to next thing to try! Need to have better processes to deliver results. Need to do better in feedback/performance reviews - the existing system is a farce.

    Advice to Management

Slow down. Listen to opinions of people that you hire from other companies. Don't just talk about taking risks, do it!
