Pros

If you like working in teams, this is a great place to work. Whether your working with other offices, on integrated teams, or a local team to deliver on a project, the folks are open to ideas from any level and collectively agree as to the best path forward for the client. The client objectives, consumer needs, and available assets/resources/capabilities are always considered when making any recommendation. This place is FILLED with uber talented individuals with a vast array of experience and everyone wants to learn and grow together.

Cons

Flexibility in working from home is about the only downside. While there are reasons for this, it's a policy that can be earned once you've shown your willingness to make yourself readily available and as the need arises. The real value is in being in the respective offices given how much you can learn, grow and play together.

Advice to Management

Continue to execute against the long term vision. It's sound, industry challenging and changing. The individuals willing to work together are best in class and any opportunity to tap them is in everyone's best interest. As you continue to develop mid to senior level leaders, paint a clear path for advancement to enable individual performers a clear vision of what's possible.

    Pros

    - great atmosphere and physical location (downtown Austin)
    - friendly employees
    - smart management
    - fair compensation
    - appreciation for employees
    - good work/life balance

    Cons

    - culture can be tense (or lacking between employees)
    - not enough established process
    - can feel very "corporate" sometimes
    - does not seem to be much room for growth
    - clients can be be very tough to work with

    Advice to Management

Make the environment more fun! It gets too tense and there are not nearly enough office events to boost morale - not just big company wide events, but even small ones like happy hour, or watching a movie.

    Pros

It is a client focused environment created by a team of all-stars. Employees are valued and retention is a top priority.

    Cons

It requires a lot of dedication and at times it is difficult to keep the work life balance but it remains much better than any other NY PR agency I have worked for.

    Advice to Management

I really have nothing to complain about. I feel that Jim Weiss and Diane Weiser are amazing leaders who will ensure that the company meets their short and long term goals that have been outlined.
