Pros

If you like to travel it is a great place to work. There are so many different stores that we do that it never gets boring for me.

Cons

They are really not fair how they treat some people and how others get away with whatever they want to do. They dont give you enough hours to make a decent paycheck. It is not a company that I would reccommend to work for if you need a full time job.

Advice to Management

The management should pay more attention to the associates who care about the job and learn how to talk to people with a little more respect than they do. If i could tell the management anything it would be that they should know that some of us would work a lot harder than we do for them if their people skills were a little better.

I have been working at WIS International part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is really no pros exept you travel if you like to travel and that you get to know people who you work with.

    Cons

Underpayed like hell. you can work 12 hours in a shift and get payed 9 because of count time and no overtime extra pay, virtually no travel and overnight pay like £5 a night and 8p a mile after 100mile its a joke. You get exta shift on short notice and turn up to snow support but if you cant turn up one day they treat you like crap all because you didnt give them a weeks notice. You get targets for all job and if you hit them you get more jobs and a pay rise but its point less because the minimum wage goes up to your payrise and you raises to get added on and some jobs (asdas) its impossible to hit your target even tought you hit it on all other jobs also if you hit it they rise it up to the pont you cant hit it just so you dont get your rise its corrupt. The regional manager and higherups dont have a clue what they are doing when they check out a count they tend to slow even interfear in counts and care more about looks then ability they often pass there reasonibilty to team managers and shout at them if they can do it. If I ware you dont go to this corrupt company.

    Advice to Management

Do your jobs dont pass the responsibility and listen to counters advice from time to time and in general improve relationships with the lower ranked staff by giving them fair pay and treatment.

I worked at WIS International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a good position for newly graduated students to gain some experience in Management but that's about it.

    Cons

The company has no interest to think long term. Does not care about employees (starting from the inventory clerks to managers).
The top management hardly has a school diploma, some did not even finish high school!
The reality is that the company ultimate goal today is to utilize people to the maximum and if employees start saying no then get rid of them!
Very poor management and culture. People work a lot of overtime.
The full time benefits are basic. The employees turnover is huge!
